[firebird-support] Re: Problems with connecting to Firebird 2.5.5 over TCP/IP on Linux (Ubuntu).

 

@Mark I've tried 127.0.0.1 - the same error.
@Steve I've instaled xinetd (found some suggestions about that on stackoverflow)

I've run such command:

root@john-VirtualBox:/etc/init.d# netstat -an |grep 3050
tcp6       0      0 ::1:3050                :::*                    LISTEN   
unix  2      [ ACC ]     STREAM     LISTENING     33568    @john com.canonical.Unity.Scope.applications.T16459610305087
unix  3      [ ]         STREAM     CONNECTED     33571    @john-com.canonical.Unity.Scope.applications.T16459610305087

So I guess 3050 is ok?
