Merchant Center: Ist it possible to use AdWords API to Update the Product-Inventory and simultaneously using an Import by Datafeed?

Hi Forum,

we need to update price and availability more than twice a day and want to use the API.

All other Information (Title, Description,...) will import by an simple Datafeed once a day.

Is that way possible, before we start the effort to implement AdWords API?
