-- You will need to create your own Google account (or any existing google/gmail account not yet associated to any AdWords accounts) and use its email to request for access for each of their accounts to monitor the information they require, for more information, kindly refer here. Additionally, if you wish to monitor their accounts using the AdWords UI, the access they grant you should be enough.
However, if you wish to use the AdWords API, you will require a developer token (you may request your client to provide you their developer token) and you will need to generate your OAuth2 credentials such as the clientId and clientSecret. Please note that these credentials should be created using the email address you requested access for.
