Its adwords arbitrage to adsense landings like gosur.com does safe?

I have try this, but the adwords ads get removed by "Professional standard" after a few weeks.

Adwords search (notice the second ad "Goole Earth Pro"):

Landing full of adsense (url of the ad http://www.gosur.com/google-earth/?gclid=CJT6-uia7MsCFVNZhgodDWAIhA):

Google Cost per click variable available in API

Hi I'm looking to have a value that I can pull from the API for the current "cost per click" for a term. So, for example if i wanted to know what the current "cost per click" was for the term "computer", i could make a query of a that value and get back what the amount was at that point in time (or even a period of time, would work too). This would not be tied to activity in my account, I mena that it would be independent of any campaigns I'm running. Does this currently exist?

Thanks in advance!

What is the URL structure of the Campaign/AdGroup management console?

I'm trying to figure out how to generate a link (on our internal frontend) that points to the page for a given campaign or ad_group given their ids.

For example:
https://adwords.google.com/cm/CampaignMgmt?authuser=0&__u=[ACCOUNT ID?]&__c=[UNKNOWN ID]#a.[AD_GROUP_ID]_[CAMPAIGN_ID]&app=cm

We have an internal id that we use when hitting the Google API (via the SDK) for each account,. That does not seem to be the id for u or c. Hardcoding the u id seems to be fine for all client accounts managed by us because as far as I can tell that doesn't change. I can't figure out what the ID for c is though because I tried the one on the mcm page but that didn't work. Does anyone know what the c id is (and/or verify that my guess on the u id is correct?). Is there a way to programatically get the c id or would I have to hardcode it for all of our clients?

Thanks

Re: search terms

Hello,

Please check out Reporting guide. There are different types of reports that you can use to get the statistics for your need.

However, you can only query a specific account at a time. You would need to specify the AdWords account clientCustomerID in the SOAP request header, see Basic Concepts guide.

Thanks,
Yin, AdWords API Team.

Application Type no longer appears?

Documentation here refers to Installed Application Type (recommended) vs Web application type
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/authentication

I didn't see that option. I deleted the project and created a new project if I somehow missed it, but it still didn't come up. It goes straight from Consent Screen to "Web application, Android, Chrome App, iOS, PlayStation 4, Other"

What did I miss?

Thanks!

Re: Universal app campaigns country level breakdown

Hello,

Universal App Campaigns are only supported in the CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT. They are not yet supported in the GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT or any other reports. I will make sure that our release notes get updated to note this fact, as I can see that they were worded a bit too broadly.

Re: AdWords Python API: Passing Proxy Username and Password

Greetings!

At this point, I think you'll have to work directly with our Python client library owner to get this figured out, since this forum is meant for specifically API issues. The best way to do that is to file an issue under the Ads API Python GitHub issue tracker. He's really great at working one on one with people to get client library nuances figured out.

Thanks,
Nadine, AdWords API Team

I did try doing that. I have something like this in my googleads.yaml:

# Proxy configurations (optional)
proxy_info
:
  host
: username:password@myproxy.com
  port
: 1234

Throws an error in httplib2:

httplib2.ServerNotFoundError: Unable to find the server at accounts.google.com

I believe httplib2 has specific settings for the proxy username and password which never get set in line 118 in the above link.

Any idea on when the fix might be introduced?

Thanks again!

Re: ImpressionReach/ UniqueCookies returning \"--\" for segment by day, all time data, shows correct value in the UI

Hello Suchit,

That does make sense that you would retrieve that information for all time when someone is connecting for the first time. Yes, some data such as "Unique Cookies/Impression Reach" will not be calculated when you choose All time. That is the case for both our user interface and the API. I only suggested 14 days because your screenshot showed 14 days. I checked your account, and that account has data from January 1st of this year to present for that particular field.

Best,
Nadine, AdWords API Team

Thanks for the answer, so we have an analytics tool which is importing day wise data for the client from adwords api. Now when the client connects is account for the first time we import "all time" data segmented by day for him , and there we get "—" for unique cookies.

Now once the we get the all time daily data we just fetch only the current day data, which seems to work fine.

Now are you suggesting that All Time segment by day will now show the correct "UniqueCookies/ImpressionReach" and we should fetch only 14 days of data ?

When you choose All time for any request to AdWords, some fields will not be calculated for various reasons such as processing time to calculate the request. You could also change your API request to say LAST_14_DAYS to match your AdWords user interface request. Thank you for your help, it got me away from a red herring.

I had missed that _WIN64 is defined by _cygwin.h, so crtdefs.h does in
fact correctly define intptr_t *-*

In fact the problem was caused by IBPP, which has a very old ibase.h.

AdWords Python API: Passing Proxy Username and Password

Hi there,

I'm running into a bit of an issue as I'm behind a corp firewall which requires traffic to go through a proxy and also needs authentication.

I'm just loading a credentials file using the method
AdWordsClient.LoadFromStorage("/path/to/myfile")
which will throw the following error:

HTTPError: (407, 'Proxy Authentication Required')

I believe the client will call the OAuth library and try and refresh the necessary tokens., but looking at the following code shows that proxy_user and proxy_pass are never sent to httplib2.ProxyInfo

Specifically this line of code: https://github.com/googleads/googleads-python-lib/blob/69369aedffae9be1a3059b62acd7900ddb43df1e/googleads/common.py#L118

I was thinking of opening an issue but figure I should ask as maybe I'm missing something in terms of a work around.

Thanks in advance
F D.

Re: Report from UI different than API download

H Yin,

So this means that the KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT includes all campaigns and keywords (marked with the keyword ID 3000000) and metrics from display networks? What does the Avg Position and Network(with search partners) mean for keywords from  the Display Network?

On Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:32:09 PM UTC-4, Yin Niu wrote:
Hello,

Keyword performance report is single attribute report. If a keyword triggers an ad on the Display Network or Youtube Network, the ID is represented as ID 3000000.

In UI, you selected Network(with search partners), that might be the reason the display network keywords are not in the UI report.

Thanks,
